GEMOLOGICAL SERVICES

IDENTIFICATION: identify a gemstone analyzing with gemological instruments or taking to a laboratory with more sophisticated equipament, if it is necessary.

GRADING: o grade the color, clarity and cut, according to GIA standards and concepts. GIA – Gemological Institute of America is the world’s foremost authority in Gemology and the world’s most trusted name in diamond grading and gem identification.

CLASSIFICATION: form lots of gems grouping by similar grading and weights or a certain range of quality and weight. For rough it is also considered the shape.

APPRAISAL: after identifying and grading the gemstone, considering also other independent variables, a market-based value is estimated that meets the objective of the appraisal.
